Our Father Walks with Us, Every Step of the Way
At Stepping Stones Charities, we are a small but mighty non-profit dedicated to making everyday life brighter for our community. We believe that everyone deserves a second chance and the opportunity to share in the generosity we have all received, simply by following the Golden Rule.
Our organization was born from the personal experiences of our founder, Mr. Bill. Guided by his father’s lesson that we all play a role in supporting one another, Mr. Bill took action six years ago during a period of crisis for his family and neighbors. While volunteering at a local food pantry, he noticed a significant amount of food being discarded—produce that was slightly imperfect, squished bread, or dented cans. He recognized that while these items didn't look perfect, they were still good and had the power to sustain those in need.
Since then, we have been committed to providing this essential need to our community, One Step at a Time.

William “Mr. Bill” Kline
FounderWith the love of his sweetly departed wife, Nita and the devotion to the Lord, Mr. Bill dares to Dream the impossible dream and takes one step every day to make it come true. When others doubted him, he continued to do the work of supporting those who helped him through his toughest chapter. And from that place he founded, Stepping Stones Charities.
He discovered that there were so many others that were in need and he could help build connections that could lighten the load of difficult circumstances, just by asking “is there anything you need”.

Lead OfficerIn every building there is a cornerstone and for SSC, Ms. Jeanine is it. A pilar of the community who always puts her best foot forward and shares the good word in every interaction. From her laugh to her kind words, everyone is left with the joy she exudes.
When she was called to this position, she didn’t know what was in store for her, but she knew wherever the Lord leads her, she is grateful to be a vessel of change.
